Series of Picture Dictionaries

Our series of picture dictionaries are offered in several languages for beginners. Our dictionaries assist students with diving into the language easily as we offer an independent supporting asset to any curriculum. Ruman’s dictionaries simplify the process of understanding words by projecting them through original illustrations. Following our character’s story, several essential interrelated topics are highlighted in separate posters such as family, food, travel, transportation, colors, numbers and many more life-relating topics. Each poster is surrounded by various nouns and verbs describing the main topic.
We take pride in our methodology of only showing the target language rather than including its translation. This way we connect the reader with the visuals of the words, rather than its translation.
Our featured character’s journey gets the students involved in the language by creating a comprehensive picture with them along the storyline.
Because languages are the bridges that connect us, our illustrations build a humanity culture through messages such as child rights, individuals with special needs, ethnic diversity, animal welfare, and gender roles.
At Ruman we believe that the differences between languages and cultures is a valuable human treasure. Up to this moment, Ruman offers picture dictionaries in five languages: Arabic, English, Kurdish Kurmanji, Kurdish Sorani and Swahili
In order for Ruman’s dictionaries to be an integrated asset, we developed posters and flashcards to enhance the learning process.
